    action

    april 17th

    6:30 pm

Each step of recovery is about action in one way or another.  For many of us our unwillingness to take action in life and let it pass us by is something that causes pain and confusion for ourselves and our loved ones.

In step 3, the action asked of us is one that sets the stage for the rest of the 12 steps and the rest of our lives moving forward.

We realize that faith is not just something we can have while doing nothing.  It is what propels us toward a deeper understanding of God and what God's will is.  Faith without works is dead and the work we have set out on leades us to a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps.

  • the road back to you: an enneagram study

    wednesdays at 10:00 am

    (beginning on may 1st)

    room 202

Have you ever heard of an "Enneagram?" It is an ancient personality type system that can help us learn more about who we are and how we operate. In The Road Back to You, authors Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile access the wisdom of the Enneagram, connecting it with Christian spirituality to help us become our most authentic selves.

For 5-weeks, Rev. Matt Hall will use The Road Back to You to help you learn more about what drives our behavior and how God created us.

The cost for the study is $20 which pays for the book and a study guide. You can bring the money to the first class or bring it by the Church Office.

Please sign up for the class by

    youth gathering

wednesdays at 7:40 in room 153

Youth are getting a chance to help talk about issues they might feel uncomfortable talking about at church.   This share group is a time set aside for youth (in 7th through 12th grades) to talk about the “real stuff” in a casual and safe atmosphere.

This group meets in room 153.
