A few years ago, Dolphin Riggs traded her mountain bike and running shoes for hiking boots and trekking poles to find herself in a brand new world. In 2016, Dolphin became the first woman Appalachian Trail Chaplain sanctioned by the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church. Unfortunately she had to decline as she felt something was wrong. Turns out she had breast cancer. On this night of Celebrate Recovery, Dolphin delivers her story of personal recovery from breast cancer and how hiking helped her accept life in her brand new world.
