As a kid, Thumper had a few accidents that should have killed him. He was also diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Eventually Thumper started using whatever drugs and/or alcohol he could get his hands on. This lasted for many years and Thumper nearly died from overdoses and problems with insulin and blood-sugar levels. Now he preaches God's word and brings his story and message to Celebrate Recovery.
